WHAT IS NOKIA OR MICROSOFT DOING ABOUT THE LUMIA BRAND

I just keep wondering sometimes about the Lumia brand and their phones in general. My thoughts are from the premise that when all the other top OEMs'  release or tease the release of newer products there is always alot of hype about them and people want to know what's new about them. Even the not-so tech savvy folks still figure out the names of some of the top brands. Take for instance
when Samsung drops a new Galaxy device , there is a market for that device and a reasonable majority get to know about this device. But when Nokia drops a new Flagship Lumia, there really isn't any hype about it like say the new Lumia 930, I'm not even sure loads of the technophiles out there are aware of the device or what it offers. At least on the flip side,in the android community, there is a spec war or battle and a very staggering price point for every type of "specced" out device ( pardon my diction). For Nokia or the windows phone community its basically always a drag and I being a Windows fan boy can't seem to make any major commitment to the platform.

On the software side the devices and OS work quite well. I just got to use the newly released 8.1 update and its pretty darn good. Oh and boy do I love the "voice everything" ( actually means the voice commands and dictation). Its even more convenient than the android version and that one is unparallelled but support form developers haven't exactly been very encouraging. And I know things would change down the line, but for now I think Nokia should seriously work out a new way to draw  the tech community in all over again. I love the brand and wish them all the luck the needs. Besides more brands breeds more competition and more competition is always a plus for consumers. And for we old time Nokia lovers........
